The other two was the 4010 Mule and the 570 Ranger. The Mule was a nice machine and like you said been around for ever but it still had drum brakes Not sure why, and the Ranger was a belt driven machine and just to fast, I think 40 mph could get me in trouble. So the Kubota RTV 500 it will be.Denny Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10360361930353516469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3345529751210998737.post-57468212102942537842016-03-28T22:12:58.430-04:002016-03-28T22:12:58.430-04:00I've been searching lately and must say I love...I've been searching lately and must say I love the Kubota RTVX900, but just a bit out of my range. The RTV500 is smaller but dollar signs make it more attractive. I mean, I'm not pulling any logs around. I currently use a golf car to get around my 60 acre nursery stock, a bit slow. But I'd use the rtv500 to bring myself out to the fields, do any winter and summer pruning while carrying my tools. All dirt roads, some mudd. I'd drive it to work as it's basically on property and drive threw the fields after dinner with my kids. 50 acres all in my back yard of nursery stock we own. I can<br />Use it to mulch with dump body, pick up debris during spring clean up. I'm offered a hell of a deal on the 900x , I just don't think is need that much power. The 500 is $3k less which makes it appealing. So for me, it gets me to work, used at work, drive home from work, take family for ride through the fields in summertime is always fun. Both have hydrostatic transmission. Why wouldn't I go for the 900x? I have a Kubota tractor to plow. I really need help to decide which one is the best fit. 0%financing helps.i could put down half for cash, and leave me with around $89-$100 monthly payment. If just going straight up or straight down a slope, I've never had a problem.Late to Gaminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01832907369123513580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3345529751210998737.post-51573111524145572992013-08-22T18:19:58.848-04:002013-08-22T18:19:58.848-04:00How stable is the RTV500 on a slope?
